Translating degrees to radians is important in programming and coding. We learned how to turn one from the other with some very simple formulas and substitution.
To translate degrees into radians, you need to times the degrees by pi/180, which should give you xPi/180. From there, you simplify it down into it's simplest form.
e.g. 5°×π/180=5π/180=π/36
To translate radians into degrees, you need to multiply the radian by 180/Pi. you then get rid of the Pi symbols from both part of the fraction. Then you simply calculate it and turn it back into degrees.
e.g. 3π/4×180/π=(3π×180)/4π=(3×180)/4=135°
