We learned about vectors, and how they are calculated.
Vectors have magnitude and direction, which determine what angle it is at and the size of the vector.
They can also be added and subtracted. The sums can be a+b, a-b and b-a. Vectors can be added as well, which is done by adding the two vectors individually together to create two numbers.
An example of an exam question relating to vectors would be about a boat in the sea, heading in one direction, and the wind/sea heading in another. The objective would be to work out what direction the boat would veer by using vectors.
There is a lot that can be done with vectors, and even though this is my first time learning about them, I think I have done well. I still need to understand them more, but I know that once it clicks it will stick.
Vectors can be used in coding as coordinates. You can code a character's movement with the vectors that certain nodes will move to at given times.
